Many local horse shows are in the surrounding area, and 5 foxhunts are nearby. Only 45 minutes from the Washington D.C. beltway and Dulles Airport, Catlett is convenient no matter where you're from.

We don't believe in rushing things here - horses and ponies are carefully evaluated before we offer them for sale. We take them to shows, ride them cross country and interact with them on a daily basis.

 Deborah Wright, the owner of Blue Moon Sport Horses, has over 30 years of experience in the horse business. Deborah has many years of showing in the Hunter and Dressage arenas, and has also designed and built horse facilities of all descriptions. She is a certified instructor and has been training and selling horses since her teens.

Using only top quality riders, Deborah individually tailors a training and showing program for each horse. We can also prepare your horse for the shows - from local to 'A' rated - either to increase the value or to just make the horse more pleasurable for you to ride.
